Dutton Close Development Update

Official statement from the Parish Council

Following on from the Home Office’s decision to scrap plans for placing asylum seekers on Dutton Close, the Parish Council’s immediate priority now is to work to ensure the new build houses are completed and made available to address the needs of the local community.

We will be working with all involved parties, including Rt Hon Mark Pritchard MP and Shropshire Council, to see how best the properties can be brought to the market. This may include options around sale (freehold), rental and/or local housing associations, shared equity, or others.
