Dutton Close Update

The Parish Council has continued to push for making these new properties available for local rent and/or purchase, and we continue to work closely with Shropshire Council in pursuing these goals with the developer. Having become aware of the potential of them being made available to people from Enfield, we worked with Shropshire Council and a joint formal letter, extracts from which you may have already seen, was sent to Enfield Council, stressing that these properties were permitted to support local needs, and highlighting the remoteness of the location, the absence local amenities such as Doctors, Dentists, Shops etc, and that the nearest bust stop is some 1 ½ miles away etc. Once again, this is likely to be fast moving, but we will endeavour to keep you updated.
